Vintage Ben Aipa Surf Board - Blue Wave

Vintage Ben Aipa Surf Board - Yellow

Signature model Stinger by Ben Aipa. #399 from the late '70s .
6'6 x 21" x 3". Bens board fell off the rack, hit a bucket and had to be re-shaped. Hence the wing.

Vintage Greg Noll Surf Board

Greg Noll and Nicky Dora (Da Cat). This Black Cat is one of the rarest boards, it has hand painted florals top and bottom. Original removable fins. Pintail.
10' x 22.5" x 3". Excellent condition.
Selling for $25,000 - now on sale for $15,000 including fin.

 

Vintage Dick Brewer Surf Board

Original Dick Brewer from the early '60s. This board is the sister board to Hawaiian auction piece sold for $33,000. It has the original fin two 1" redwood stringers side by side, and is signed by Dick Brewer. Shaped by Brewer when he owned Surfboards Hawaii. Board has a suntan and some water damage on the rail, nothing bad. Board #823.

Vintage Sam Hawk Surf Board

Hand shaped Semi-gun by Sam Hawk himself. Mid '70s and in great condition. Round pintail single fin, very impressive board by a very impressive shaper.
7'3' x 20.5" x 3 1/8". Great condition.

Vintage Lightning Bolt Surf Board

Gerry Lopez Design. This diamond tail single fin was found at Long beach swap-meet. The person who bought it said that it was shaped by some Mexican so he scraped the name Lopez off the board.
6'4' x 20" x 2 7/8". Great condition.

Shaped in the early 80s this tri-fin was one of the first thrusters made by Nuuhiuua in California.
6' 3" x 21 1/2" x 3 1/4".

Vintage Phil Edwards Surf Board

Honolulu Series A model. This triple stringer blue pigment yellow pin lines was all done by Phil himself. This board has a lot of history, it made the Longboard magazine(still have the magazine) Triple T band stringer with blue pin line in outer stringer. Knifey rails. Phil wrote a letter about the board which will accompany the board as well as the magazine.
10' x 22 1/2" x 3". Mint condition.
Was $10,000 now selling for $7,000 firm.

 

Vintage Simon Anderson Surf Board - Nectar

This was one of the first thrusters made by Simon back in the early 80's. This was a huge turn in the fin placement.

One of the first boards built by Shaun Tomson with the original logo before Instinct. Double wing, pin. Single fin. Shaun was very impressed with this board as he asked to sign it being a good friend at Wave Weapons.

Vintage surfboard shaping planer that pros use - these planers are the toughest, and are extremely difficult to find these days One in good condition like this can sell for as much as $3000.
